Funny thing Mr. Nix: you blasted Bill Grant about his comments, even though he was totally in on the joke. After his clever and witty response actually generated a LOT of national attention for Canton, you now want to get in on the action and try to sell homes because of the positive (and funny) response to Mr. Grant's actions. We all think you owe Bill Grant one BIG apology, and you should retract your CRAPPY comments and unfair opinions. If you knew anything about Bill Grant, you would know that he is a strong advocate for Canton and Cherokee County, and we are lucky to have him in our fair city!

@LadyCanton All I was doing is sharing some funny stuff about Canton with my readers. If you look back at my post dates, you will see they were made really close to the actual events. No calculations of capitalizing on anything. I truly enjoyed the funny comments from everyone. At the time I wrote about Mr. Grant, his comments did not sound funny. He went back and added more comments to the forum that are obviously sarcastic, but I must have missed his initial intent (as did every news report out at the time). However, if Mr. Grant wants an apology, then he will have to speak for himself and I will gladly offer it. I simply reacted to what I read and meant no ill will to Bill (or his fans, as you must be one).

On a side note, it always makes me smile when I get attacks, accusations, and demands from comments who don't even show their real identity. Who has something to hide here? You accuse of me of wanting to sell houses. No big shock there, I love Canton and think it's a great to place to live - why wouldn't I spread the word? All I know about you is that you're against the Canton West project (according to your email alias "nocantonwest@yahoo.com").

May I ask why you are opposed to a planned approach to managing growth in Canton?
